Johnny Prescott 1961-1970

Known as a 'Playboy' who was famously photographed with Miss World on one arm and Miss Great Britain on the other, moments after winning a fight in London, Prescott famously faught Henry Cooper along with his twin brother Jim Cooper. (although on different occasions!) 

As a heavyweight boxer he won 34 bouts (13kos), lost 11 and drew four totalling 49 fights. He won the Midlands title and challenged for the British and Commonwealth crowns losing famously against Henry Cooper.

Cruiserweight/Heavyweight - orphaned at an early age he resided atJosiah Mason's Orphanage, Orphanage Road, Erdington.  He later lived with his grandmother on William Henry Street, Nechells, and was a Birmingham City footbal fan.
